About Us
Dwight D. Ingersoll, Counsellor for Pathway Christian Counselling, is rich in life experiences and education that have prepared him to be a good therapist. As a child, Dwight lived in various locations in the Maritimes and the United States. He practically grew up attending church morning, noon and night - even preaching at a young age. Although he first wanted to be a pharmacist, God led Dwight to attend Bethany Bible College (now Kingswood University) in New Brunswick where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a Pastoral Ministries Major.
After spending nine years serving as a pastor, Dwight recognized the lack of availability of Christian Counselling in the Maritimes. As such, he returned to university to enhance his skills as a counsellor and educator through the completion of a three year degree: Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Providence Theological Seminary near Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through this program, Dwight has learned to combine his passion to bring healing and health to people with professional standards and practices predetermined by the counselling profession. As well, he has refined his passion to see the church take an ethical and excellent role in the therapeutic process.
Dwight has a deep concern for the ministry to and education of those who serve in full-time Christian ministry, yet his heart and training have equipped him to help anyone in need. Our greatest desire is to be useful in your journey through whatever particular need you have in seeking the assistance of a counsellor.
